After grabbing the attention of the music industry in the UK in 2007, New Generation Superstars continue to work hard with consistency, perseverance and enthusiasm which have gained them accolades worldwide.


Built upon a solid foundation over 5 years, the Nottingham based band has mastered their craft with anthemic choruses, crunching guitar riffs, accompanied by thundering bass lines and drums.


Hailed by rock fans and media critics alike, NGS captured the reason why, in their debut album 'Crash Course in Rock n Roll'. Laid down in a record four days, with Grammy Award Nominated Producer Alan Smyth (Arctic Monkeys/Pulp).


Released in September 2007 (Underdog Records Ltd), the album saw NGS attracting worldwide attention and glowing reviews, with the record selling well in the UK and countries such as Japan, Finland, Spain, Italy and the USA. Shortly before the album's release Kerrang! Magazine award a KKKKK live review and named NGS "Serious hope for British rock!" with further praise following throughout the year. Kerrang! continued to feature the band in 2008, and NGS were also approached by Classic Rock Magazine after a worldwide search, to feature on the "Sons of Guns 2" cover mount CD.


2009 has so far seen further work with Alan Smyth to complete the second album 'Raising the Stakes', due for worldwide release on 3rd August 2009. A 10 date UK tour alongside Love/Hate and Ricky Warwick will follow from August - September.


Relentless touring with many home grown and international acts over the past 2 years led to the band jointly playing sold out shows at the Mean Fiddler (London), Underworld (London) and Rock City (Nottingham). A triumphant set at the Rock n' Blues Festival to 2,000 fans, the Hard Rock Hell Festival (Minehead), the prestigious City Showcase in London, Cruefest in New York, USA, the headline slot on the second stage at The Bulldog Bash (2008) and being hand picked to support Duff McKagan's Loaded all brought much deserved attention. In addition to all this the band has played alongside the likes of The Distillers, The 69 Eyes and Ginger of The Wildhearts. In 2009 NGS has continued to triumph with a slot at Trashfest 2009 in Helsinki, Finland and being hand picked by Bruce Dickinson to be featured on his Radio 6 Rock Show.


With a style that has attracted fans from all walks of life, and tastes in all genres of music, New Generation Superstars are continuously forging a following worldwide, with major hits on official band sites, a strong presence on social networking sites, forums and even unofficial fan pages dedicated to the band.
